"My mother was murdered too but it wasn't by my father. It was his fault though, and it was his thinking that changed my thoughts too. But I won't bore you with those details." he said.
For some reason he had the urge to comfort the girl. To carry such a burden as that. It seemed unfair. He never had something like that held on his shoulders and he never once considered avenging his mother. His father had always told him that it was her own fault and because she tried to do things that woman were never expected to do. The exact reason why he found woman to be so inferior to men. Yet at this moment, his thoughts about Reya were nothing like the thoughts he normally had on woman.

"My father was a pirate." She said suddenly, without knowing why. She didn't know why she was telling him this, nor did she understand why he told her about him. She supposed it was because she was lonely and wanted to let someone in, though it was against all her better judgement. She continued, "So I had to become a pirate in order to think like one so I could find him." She looked at him slightly. "That's what I poisoned you for. I wanted to see if you had any information on my father."

"If I knew his name, I'd probably remember something. Anyway my father was a pirate too. He owned El Reino before me. The authorities were after all the pirates at the time. I was still young then and my mom was always trying to prove herself to my father.." he said and almost faultered when he realized how much he was telling her..but still he continued. "The night the authorities came, my mother told me to run and she hid me. My father just ran and left my mother to fend for herself. She was taken into custody under the charges of associating with pirates. She and hundreds of other men, woman and children were hung."
He sighed then and left it at that. "You probably wouldn't want my help if I offered it to you. But I will anyway. If you need help finding your father..I'll help you."

She turned to him completely, her cheek resting on the sand. The sincerity in his voice shocked her, but comforted her at the same time, though she'd never say it out loud. She let her eyes fall from him to the sand,
"Samuel," She said out of nowhere. "My father's name is Samuel Sirabella."

"Samuel..Samuel..sounds familiar..." he muttered in thought, "Wait! Sirabella!? You're a Sirabella!? I shoulda known. You have that same attitude. Yeah I've met him before. We met at a pub in the Carrabean." he said. "We raided a trading ship one night and I never saw him after that. He may still be in the Carribean though."

Her eyes got dark again.
"I refuse to have the same name as him." She said, her voice low and deadly. "I am Reya, just Reya." She turned her face towards the sky for the hundreth time and ignored the sand sticking to her face. Her face softened after a long while, realising that she had told this man almost everything. She told him about her mother, about why she became a pirate, about her father, though, there was much more to tell about him. She had no desire to talk more about him though.

He turned so he was laying on his side and let out what seemed to be an honest smile. Once he hadn't shone since his mother was alive. "You know I didn't think you'd actually tell me all this...but I'm glad you did anyway. I think it means that you don't really hate me." he said. It wasn't in a teasing tone either. It was simply something said.
He thought of something daring at the moment. One that she would probably not appreciate, but he wasn't going to do anything bad. He slided over so the gap between them was slightly closed.

Her eyes and her suddenly ridged body showed the uncomfortable fear she felt. Her head slowly and slightly turned to him. She had half a mind to move away, she didn't want to be assulted again by any means, but she couldn't get herself to move. She wrenched her eyes shut and waited for what was to come, readying her fists in case she needed to use them.

What she thought was going to come never did. He just kept looking at her and her at her strange actions. He simply rolled onto his back and looked up at the sky. Maybe it was wrong to make that move..he wondered.

When she realised he had turned over onto his back, she let go of a breath she didn't realise she was holding in, and toon a small breath of fresh air. She opened her eyes and saw he wasn't even looking at her. Did she interpret him wrong? She was sure he was going to try and kiss her again, thinking that now that she had opened up it was ok. She looked at the sky as well with a scoff.
"I'm so pathetic," She mumbled.

He heard her mutter and smirked. "Aren't we all? But I love that about you~" he said in an attempt to make her blush again. He'd seen her do it before and now felt an urge to see it all the time.

Quickly and against her will her cheeks became tinted with a light color of pink. But she played it off, as if it never appeared.
"Of course you would," She said, turning her head the other way. "Women are not suppose to fend for themselves, they should be pathetic because it's their place." She said sarcastically, repeating the thoughts Amadeus had of women.

"Really? I thought they were meant to be bold, and independent with men swooning at their feet." he said playing her game. But smirked as he said it. "You fend for yourself though. I'll believe that. You're also very bold, and beautiful." he said as one hand almost on impule lifted to slightly caress her cheek.

She jumped and tensed at his touch, but forced herself to respond in a firm voice.
"When did you stop thinking so little of me?" She asked, not looking at him. She gave a light snort. "Though, I bet you still believe I should be like the women who get all dressed up for nothing and depend on their fathers and husbands for everything."

"Like you said, maybe the island is just getting to me." he answered. "And sometimes you need to depend on others." he admitted, which was now admitting to much in his part.
Then laid the hand onto the sand. "You're distancing yourself from me. I can see why, but do you do this with every guy you meet?" he asked.
