Alice looked at the pair with a confused expression. She started to led the two captains to the row boat all the was across the island.
"Did something happen between you two?" she asked.

Reya glared at Amadeus then looked in the other direction.
"No," She said, lying. Fortunatly she added something more her style to her answer. "If that pervert tried anything with me he'd be dead!" She looked at him again and crinkled her nose.

"Oh don't believe her Alice my dear. You can expect some children from her soon~" he lied just to aggrivate Reya.
Then in attempt to anger Reya even more, he wrapped his arm around her waist. "Ah and she enjoyed it too~" he said smirking.

"GAH!" She elbowed him in the stomach as hard as she could, then grabbed the armm that had been on her waist and flung him away from her. She didn't have enough force in the pull to send him to the ground, only a few feet away from her. She was so angry she couldn't even look at him or speak to him. She just continued walking, trying to catch up with Alice.

"She didn't deny it Alice. That means it's true~' he said now trailing behind the two girls. He enjoyed Reya's temper even though he knew he would always physically pay for it.
He stretched as they finally made it towards the rowboat. "Ah finally!!"

She continued to ignore him as she turned to Alice with a gentle smile, something unseen by Amadeus since he cracked her shell a bit.
"Thank you Alice," She stepped into the boat and faced away from the two, making sure to keep a plain look on her face. She was done giving Amadeus the satisfaction of her temper. She would no longer let him get the best of her.

The waves swirved the boat and cast them further and further out to see. Soon the island couldn't even be seen. It was as if it vanished.
"It feels good to be off that island~ Hey Alice, you don't happen to have any rum on you would you?" he asked as if desperate.
He also noticed Reya was ignoring him and decided to sit closer to her just to see if she'd be annoyed.

Alice nodded and pulled a small bottle out of her bag.
"Sorry it's small. I would have brought you a bigger bottle, but it wouldn't have fit in my bag."

Amadeus grabbed the bottle quickly and hugged it. "Oh how I've missed you sweet, sweet rum!" he said excitingly.
Quickly opening the small bottle he was about to chug it down when he groaned and held the bottle over to Reya. "Here." he said.

She completely ignored the fact that he was now sitting closer, so well actually that she had blocked his existence from her mind. At that moment, as far as she knew, there was no one by the name of Amadeus Corderro on the face of the earth.
She let her thoughts wander to other things, fixing her ship, rum, those sorts of things. The simple, happy things.
