Alice glanced up at the sky and sighed.
"My parents died leaving me alone. I have an older brother, but he didn't have the money or the room for me. I was working at an Inn as a cook. The Captain needed someone to cook for him and he liked my cooking. So, I joined his crew, I had always wanted to be a pirate....I did not know what I was getting into...." she said quietly.

Alice and Haru now saw two ships when they reached the other side, but there was a tremedous fog.

They looked around for a sign of Ama and Reya.
Alice glared at Haru.
"I don't need your sympathy."
"It's been bugging me for a while and I think I finally get it. Haru....You're a girl."

"And?" Haru asked not denying it. It was not like she was hiding it or anything, she just said that to Ethela to stop calling her miss, but it backfired with Mr.

"I'm tempted to tell him. That way you would know how it feels to be treated like trash. What Ethela and I go through.....But I wont." Alice smiled a little.
"Truth is...If the Captain hadn't already seen me as a girl and had taken me on...Then I would probably also pretend to be a guy. You must have your reasons...and I wont pry....Tell when you want."

"Maybe cannibals cook him into a meatball stew," she murmered going way over her head with her strange ideas. "The fog is deep......we may have to wait till it clears up or we will just end up going in circles."
Haru sat on the sand where she laid. "Even the heavens have lost us here, but the curse has not."

Soon in the backround they heard yelling, it was Reya. But Haru still stayed there, not making any actions. "Nice day isn't it?"
