Chris looked up as someone called her title. Her eyes widened, and then suddenly she was flushed with a type of anger. She wedged a piece of wood down in the helm's briggets to keep it from moving. She went to the mast and took a rope in a firm hand, she climbed her way up and swung over towards Denzel, but her kick off wasn't enough for the wind. She landed on the third mast. Analyzing her situation, this time she used the wind to her benefit.
She swung near him and grabbed him, sliding down the rope they landed on the deck with a low thud because of the thunder.

DAnzel groaned as they landed and he rolled over onto his side to face her. "Thank you captian," he said as he caught his breath. "Yer a life savor!"

Chris didn't hear him, she more worried about her ship then anything at the moment, "Get up and help Darwin secure the cannons down below." she ordered. The code read it be every pirate for themself. But then again it was a pirates life, was it not? Rules were meant to be broken.

He quickly got up and hurried down to help as he was told. Cursing to himself he went over to Darwin.

"Somethin' da matter there lad?" asked Darwin over the roar of the storm. He was in the process of tying the cannon, and had just spotted Denzel coming up to him.

"Ar, something the matter with cha," he said tightening the ropes, he motioned Denzel over to the next cannon, "Keep it where it is now, until I tie it tight. Don't let it slip!" He instructed, keeping his heel at the back wheel to insure it didn't slide back with the baying of the vessel and go out the side.

A couple of knots, another round about, more knots. The ship rocked as hard as it's ever had before. "Hope yer footings well." he warned.

As he said this, Denzel had to adjust his footing as he felt the cannon slid a bit. He gribbed it tighter. "I reckon the sea might just jump up and swallow us whole!" he shouted over another roar of thunder.

Darwin let out a bellow of laughter, as loud as thunder itself. "It very well might! Pray ye god we don't come across de cracken, of the flying dutchmen." he said finishing up the cannon.

"It only be much of a cracken, when it depends on what kind of captain you've got," he said with a wink.
