It was Alice's favorite time of the day. The time between lunch and dinner. She stood up on deck looking at the ocean, the wind in her hair.
"Nothing is better than being at sea." she said outloud to herself.
She smiled.

Adelle took Alice's words literally, so she abandoned the topic to stare out at the sea and started humming a pirate tune.
King popped out of her vest and chirped along.

"Well....I'm hiding from the Captain.....Lunch is over and I have a while until I need to get back to the kitchen for dinner. So, I came up to the deck to watch the ocean. I have already finished my other chores......and if Captain Amadeus catches me doing nothing he'll give me more cleaning to do...."

"ALright!" Adelle exclaimed, pounding the air with her fist. "Watch your step on the way down, its kinda a long way down." And with that Adelle unlatched the door and let herself fall into the trap door, then onto a tube swiveling down.
