Her eyes widened with joy, and she popped up. "T-thank you, Captain!" she cheered happily, standing up and saluteing.

He laughed and walked over to the large wooden steering wheel. "Grab the handles tightly and don't crash us into any rocks kay?~"

She nodded, a determined gleam in her eyes. she grabbed onto the handles, and though it was difficult for somebody her size, she managed to steer it correctly. "Like this, Captain?" she asked happily.

"Okay for a girl." he said and stood by her incase she made any mistakes. He wasn't ready to buy another ship if it crashed. "Turn us 15 degrees eastward." he said.

She nodded and did as she was told, ignoring the comment about girls. She couldnt help but smile and laugh to herself, she had always wanted to steer the ship, even if it was only just for alittle bit.

Alice went to work fixing lunch. Ephran walked in hoping for a snack.
Alice glared at him.
"Whoa! Sorry I'll wait until lunch. Why are your panties in a knot?"
"The Captain let Ethela have the day off, and is now teaching her how to steer."
"Wow. That's unlike him."
"He doing it because of us."
"Me?! What'd I do?"
"We got caught. I covered for you, said you were sick. Now I'm getting punished. Do you know how much work Ethela and I do combind?"
"A lot?"
"Yes! It'll take me all day to get the work done. I'll be lucky to get done before nightfall."
Alice sat down on a sack of potatoes and put her hands in her face.
"It's not fair." she sobbed, "He's such a jerk. He told me I couldn't do "men" work...Maybe he's right."
"He's not. You're as strong as any of the guys. Don't let him get to you. I got it! Let me help you."
"What about your chores?"
"I'll help when I finish them of course. Ok?"
"Alright. Thanks."
Alice wiped away her tear and went back to preparing lunch.

Continuing from El Reino

Amadeus readied his crew. Making sure everything was set. Once The Noctus is spotted, a war between the ships would begin. "Ethela! Alice! Stay off the deck and out of the cargo cabin. You two will stay in my cabin!" he ordered as men scurried about manning their stations.

"There's nothing you girls can do. Now do what I told you to!" he ordered and spotted the ship coming towards them. "Make sure Alice is with you."

Reya quickly got her ship out of the port and into the bay lleading to the open ocean. She needed to get there quickly, which is why she was happy she had one of the fastest ships around. She looked behind her to see if anyone was folowing, but the fog had settle nicely so it was hard to see much of anything.
"Jace, where the hell are we?" she asked her navigator

The fog was setting in fast and the sea was definitely not showing much mercy on the ships today considering the waves were growing more rapid each minute.
"Man your stations men!" he ordered his crew. From the crow's nest he could hear Ephran yell. "Somethings' coming straight towards us Capt'!!"
Amadeus went to the tip of the deck and squinted his eyes to see a small shadow that was getting larger and larger each second. "We're right on track for a collision!! Turn the ship!!"

Reya blinked as she looked forward again.
"Oh f***!!!" She whirlled the steering wheel around to the left as much as she could, hoping to avoid a collision. So she wasn't being followed, he had been looking for her like she had been looking for him. "Damn it!" She screamed when the ships raked against eachother, making them both shake and tilt.
One of the men lost their balance and rammed into her, sending her to the ground. "WATCH IT YOU MAGGOT!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

Amadeus regained balance as did most of the rest of his crew. 'Ethela and Alice better be in that cabin.' he thought impatiently and then realized that the ships were now connected.
He ordered one of the men to throw a plank over to cross. Amadeus was the first to cross it and when he noticed Reya still on the wooden floor, trying to regain her balance he pinned her threw the man off her tossing him overboard and pinned Reya back on the ground harshly taking his sword and stabbing it right beside her head. "This is you're ship? Hah I expected nothing more from a female~"
