"Huh?" She looked up at the stranger, and glared, jumping up to reclaim her prize. "Hey, give that back, thief!"
Her attempts to shake the monkey off did nothing but make her look like a monkey herself.

"Thief yes~ But aren't you a thief for stealing it in the first place?" he asked knowing he had her there. Raphael jumped down from the girl's shoulder and reclaimed his spot on Amadeus's left shoulder.

[Edward Cullen]

"W-well, it's only fair, cause that guy wouldn't give it to me!" she said, shaking her head fervently. "If he'd just 'put it on my tab' I wouldn't've had to take it!"

[Amadeus Corderro]

"As if you'd actually pay it off eventually~" he replied. "Too bad for you though. It's mine now."

(Wheel's is absent today. AND I SPENT FOUR HOURS DOING MY GODDAMNED HOMEWORK.)
"No, give it back, you bully!" she whined, tugging on his shirt.

He held it up high so she couldn't reach it. "Why? It's not like it is that important~ Just an ordinary chain and ring. Or is it more?" he asked grinning.

She jumped to try and reach it, but the man was just too tall.
"It could be, dummy! It might be some kinda ancient treasure with magic powers!"

"Powers? Hm Like what? A siren's necklace? Or maybe it came from a mermaid? Of course it has magical powers!" he teased and kept it high so she could still not reach.

"All the more reason for me to keep it then~"

The girl's eyes grew wide as she thought of all the possibilities. The necklace really might have belonged to a siren, or a mermaid. Maybe it could even be the key to Atlantis, swallowed by a fish which was then caught by a fisherman and sold to jewelry stand guy!
"No, no, no, it's mine!" she said, shaking her head and tugging on his shirt.

He simply laughed. As if he'd actually return it. Now that he knew their was a possibility that it could actually be worth something, he was going to hold on to it. "You know little girl, you are beginning to bore me. Im just gunna have to leave now~" he said slowly turning away to see her reaction.

Remembering something her stupid older brother used to do all the time, Dolphin closed one eye, stuck her tongue out in concentration, and then aimed a kick at the back of his knee. He would topple over like something that topples over, now!
"Give it back, jerk face!" she shouted, anger evident in her voice.

He fell forward and gripped where she kicked. "Ah! Que pasa con tigo(sp?)!?? " he yelled angrily and turned to face her. "You stupid girl!" He stuffed the necklace into his shirt and stood. "Don't think I won't kill a child."

"In front of all these people? What, are you stupid or something?" the girl demanded, crossing her arms and glowering at him. Though her words and posture suggested confidence, her wide eyes and the fact that she was visibly shaking implied otherwise.

"I never said where it'd be." he retorted and crossed his arms mocking her posture. He could see her fear and just laughed. "Whatever little girl."

"You can't just kidnap me! You'd get arrested!" she pointed out, even though she knew it was entirely plausible he would get away with something like that. People always got away with breaking the law here.
