"Ah!" She said sharply as she was pulled roughly in two directions. She looked to the left and saw Amadeus, looking aroud, no longer holding her tightly. To her right, was a beautiful woman, who pulled her once more and out of Amadeus's grasp. She was upset, to say the least, that the beautiful voice had stopped. But when she looked again, next to the woman was a man. A very handsome man, the one who had been singing. She stared at him with glorifying wonder.

Hm, they'd noticed him already... The added difficulty would just make this more interesting, he decided, quickly diving back under the waves so he could formulate a plan.
It looked to him as if they'd been fighting. Perhaps the best plan would be to simply wait it out. But no, that wouldn't work. He had to get them into the water...
Two of them had seemed either shocked or appalled by his presence, probably both. He was going to have to trick them into believing they were wrong about what he was. How would he manage that though?
Those two had been male. Male humans tended to look out for the females...
With the help of a makeshift bra made out of his rope belt and two seashells, and his knife, he surfaced halfway and put his plan into action.
"He-lp! Th-the shark~!" he shouted in his feminine falsetto, splashing around as if trying to pull away from something.

Sylvain had a good ear for music and sounds- that included voices. He could tell immediatly that the merman was just that, a man. 'What a creepy guy...' he thought while trying to keep a straight face to sing.

Amadeus really wanted to punch Sylvain in the face but Alaiyah began to pull on his arm and was about to sing until she heard the merman. 'What is that idiot doing!?' she asked angrily to herself. Amadeus swam out to what he thought was the voice of a woman only to find something even more disturbing. "Y-you have a tail!"

Alaiyah released the girl's arm and swam after Amadeus and the merman. Reya how ever would be cought in Sylvain's trance once again.
Amadeus wasn't sure who are whether this 'merman/girl' was even a girl or not. The quick movements made it hard to tell. He dove underneath and pulled on the arm of the 'girl' and pulled it up. He looked at her with a look than asked for an explanation. "There was no shark!"

Her eyes were focused intently on his and she felt dizzy and cold. She blinked a few times, her eyelids getting heavy. She reached out to him, asking for him to take her hand silently. She wasn't sure what was posessing her, but she wanted to touch him and make sure he was real. She couldn't hear anything else as his song infiltraited her mind.

His face was rather androgynous, and his hair was somewhat long, so unless Ama either had a good knowledge of fish reproduction or was bold enough to pull off the makeshift bra, even up close it was hard to distinguish the merman's gender.
"Yeah?" 'she' replied, holding out her bleeding arm. "You must have scared it off... Thank you, my hero!"

As Reya reached out to him, Sylvain wasn't exactly sure what to do except for to keep singing. He didn't really hate humans, but he didn't like them either. They were just a neutral presence. If one died it didn't matter, but if one lived, his sister would be angry.
He extended his arm to let Reya touch him, and decided once she was fully under his trace, he'd bring her to Alaiyah.

He shrugged and smirked. "Well I guess I am a hero~ Too bad mi reina doesn't aknowledge that." he said with a sigh.
Alaiyah would have to give up on Amadeus for a moment. It would be easier to kill the human girl first.
Amadeus turned his attention back to the 'girl'. "What are you doing out here anyway?" he questioned.

She felt her will disapear, and the song take over her.
"It's beautiful," She whispered, "The song, and the man." She touched his face as her eyes began to shut under pressure. She tried keeping her head above water, but she soon lost conciousness.

"...! That shark must have dragged me all the way out here," 'she' replied, looking around as if lost or confused. "Do you think you could help me, just a little more...? I'll reward you if you do."

Sylvain let Reya fall into his arms, once he was sure she was unconscious, he threw her over his shoulder and called Alaiyah, "Laiyah! I got the girl!"
