She heard his voice, but he was so blurry, and it was making her dizzy trying to focus. She looked at him, her eyes glazed over and her pupils overly dialated. She felt his hand on her forehead. But at the moment, she forgot how to speak, and when he said her name, a treamor ran through her body. He had only ever said her name once or twice before, but it never quite sounded like that. Like he was used to saying it. Her head leaned into his hand slightly. She was getting control back of her body, but she still could barely hold her own head up.

His expression fell, now replaced with a look of worry, and possibly.. fear? These were things The man never felt or expressed unless it was on his own behalf, not over others. She was worse than he thought, and he was no bloody witchdoctor. What could he possibly do? First thing first, he needed to get her cleaned up; a vomit covered pirate was just not going to cut it with him. So, despite the fact she would probably castrate or murder him were she able to function properly, he took her disadvantages as advantages for himself and undressed her. That's right, undressed! However, he had absolutely no sexual thoughts in mind at the time. Oddly enough, he was doing it out of pure care for the woman, and was almost positive that in the state he was in, he could feel absolutely no physical pleasure while on this damned forsaken place.
He was careful, probably the most gentle he had ever been in his life as a pirate. After cleaning her up, he removed his own shirt and put it on her. At least now she was covered; it was a good thing his shirt was a big one, at least on her. He then got up to make the fire. After that, he gently switched their positions so that his back was leaning against the tree, and that she was sitting in between his legs so she could rest her back and head against his chest comfortably. He wrapped his arms around her, hoping to keep her warm even as the fire went. He would say it was a bonus for him at least to have his reina in a position like this, and completely at his mercy~. However, soon enough he fell asleep, after havin fought it for so long, his eyes just couldn't hold out any longer. He would get up before dawn and search for food, that was a positive, and then he'd search for a way off this island.

The whole time she was being dressed and cleaned, Reya, however, was not so calm as she freaked out in her head. She wasn't too keen on the idea of him seeing her with only her panties on. She was sure he had seen tons of women in less, but SHE had never been exposed to, well, anyone. But as he continued, she noticed something a little odd about his behavior. Normally, he was rough, not particularly caring if he hurt her. However, he was uncharacteristically gentle with her this time. She couldn't see him (she had closed her eyes to stop being disoriented), but the way he moved her around to get her out of her clothing was caring, and his touch was soft.
Her haywire mind calmed a bit, as she tried to focus on what he was doing. After a short struggle getting her out of her vomit clothes *ewww*, her back fell agains another bare body, instead on the one that had been previously clothed.
'Oh HELL no! PERVERTPERVERTPERVERT--eh~?' she felt her arms get lifted and slipped into somethng, and then that cloth was pulled over her head and allowed coverage for her body. 'His shirt?' Ok, he sure was acting weird. When did he get so--
She recalled what he had been like on the other god-forsaken island they were stuck on. He was oddly nice back then as well, but not quite to this extent. It was strange; she could clearly draw out a timeline of her time with him and pinpoint times when he had been oddly kind to her. As time progressed, those moments were becoming more common.
'Stupid... bloody perverted old man...' She mumbled to herself in her head. He left after a moment, but he didn't go far, she could hear him rustling around and, eventually, she heard and smelled a fire. She felt the warmth radiating off of it just before she was moved again, only to find that her back was no longer against the trunk of the tree, but against soft, warm human flesh. She realized that it was him even before his arms wrapped themselves around her. Her head was resting on his collar bone, which wasn't particularly comfortable, but not uncomfortable at the same time.
'What're you thinking, you idiot? You're going to get sick.' Maybe it was because he thought she wasn't aware of what was going on around her that he was so gentle with her, but she couldn't help but notice that he was slowly growing roots inside of her. When she first met him, he was like an annoying little seed that she couldn't pull out of the ground, but he had slowly grown on her and was now starting to grasp something in her. He still pissed her off to no end, and she still wasn't going to let herself drown in regret again, but, maybe this time, she would tolerate his major stupidity and pervertedness.
She was brought out of her thoughts by his now steady breathing. That and there was now more weight on her head. She figured that he had fallen asleep, and, inside, smiled to herself.
'We better not get eaten by those sirens because you let your guard down, dumbass~' And with that, she calmed her mind and drifted to sleep as well.

The fire had gone out by the time he awoke, and to his surprise, they were still alive. His throat was sore though, and his head still ached, but nothing came and devoured his flesh in his sleep. Involuntarily, he lightly squeezed the warm body in his arms. He wasn't awake enough to realize he had been hugging Reya the entire night. Despite how uncomfortable their situation was, he couldn't help but feel so content with her this close to him. He wasn't sure if she could register anything he was doing, and he hoped she didn't.. Though some part of him did want her to..
She was still asleep when he carefully got up, leaving her against the tree again, to search for some food. He wasn't far, and could still see the shore. He returned not long after with some coconuts and bananas. It took forever to catch some fish, chucking a sharp rock into the water every few seconds only to splash himself. When that didn't work, he resorted to using his own hands, furiously thrusting them into the water every time a fish swam by. "QUE DEMONIOS!" He screamed through grit teeth, muffling his frustration as much as he could as to not disturb his sleeping beauty. "Bloodygoodfornothingfish!"
He finally managed to catch one, not very large or impressive, but he wore a wide grin at the fact that he had caught it himself; his own two hands! It actually felt good to do something for himself, and he couldn't help but feel accomplished, though silly. He started a fire again, cooking the fish and cracking open the cocunuts. At least they'd have fresh water from the fruits.

The smell of something cooking woke her from her sleep. She sniffed the air twice, trying to recognize the smell filling the air. A small smile spread accross her face.
"Fiiiishh..." She mumbled, forgetting where she was for a moment and that she originally wasn't able to move her face or speak. Her eyes slowly opened, her vision still blurry, but it wasn't giving her a headache or disorienting her like it had the night before. She looked over to what she could make out as a fire and a human body. She squinted, trying to make out the objects sitting next to the man on the ground but couldn't make them out. She then looked back at the man, the man who had been so kind and gentle to her eventhough he thought she was not aware of what was happening. He seemed to be spacing out at the fire and not aware that she had regained her ability to speak and open her eyes. Her limbs, while she could move them, were heavy like lead. At least she could hold her own head up now. Whatever she puked up last night must have been paralyzing her from the inside by using some sort of natural poison.
Wanting (O.O) to go over to the fire and sit with the white-haired man, she mustered up her strength and crawled over, breaking him out of his trace as she sat down next to him. She looked over at his face, squinted, inched closer, then squinted more, trying to see what kind of expression he had on his face. She sighed and moved back when she found it was useless.
"Thanks..." She said quietly. "For taking care of me last night..." She looked away to hide the embarrasssing pink tint on her face.

He blinked his eyes in shock at her words. Had she seriously just willingly crawled up, sat next to him AND thank him? She really must have been sick. He just nodded his head slowly, even though her head was turned as to not look at him. He handed her the fish on a stick, not the most appetizing looking meal; but a meal none the less.
"Here." He said, handing her the stick impaled fish. "And a drink." He added, holding an open coconut in front of her. If she was starving, she wouldn't be of much help, and though he was also starving, the bananas sufficed just fine for now.

She peeked over at the fish, and at the coconut, then looked down at her arms. Her face fell darkly as she struggled to lift her arm and take the fish, the coconut water, however, she didn't bother with. Her shaking hands would only cause the water to spill all over the place and she'd rather not waste any of it. She quickly bit the fish and let go of the stick, her arm dropping heavily on her lap.
'Son of a biiiiitchhhh...' She thought to herself as her eye twitched in annoyance. She looked over at Amadeus, who had an amused look on his face. "Wahgt!?" she barked at him, holding the fish and stick in her mouth.

He chuckled lightly, though bit his lip so he wouldn't end up making her more angry. Obviously she needed some help. Looks like he would be buildin their raft himself. He sighed inwardly at the thought. Maybe she could cheer him on at least. That thought made him smile amusedly all the more.
"You need help, mi reina~?"

"No!" She said stubbornly, then began trying to eat the fish without using her hands. It worked, for the first couple of nibbles, but it was't long before she fetl the fish begin to break apart. To try and keep it from falling the tilted her head backwards, but to no avail, the fish continued to peel apart until she could no longer keep it together. "Mmk, heolp, Heolp, Heolp, HEOLP!!!!" She said just as the fish was about to break completely.

He laughed, not caring whether it would anger her or not. That was just too funny. He smirked and took hold of the fish, helping feed her. "Never thought this day would come, hm, mi reina~?" He teased, chuckling.

She glared at him and her hands fisted on her lap, wanting ho contact his face. If only her arms din't feel like they were filled with lead.
"Shut up!" She said right before taking a bite of the fish, making an 'om' sound before she bit down. It was fishy, but what could she expect from a guy whos probably never cooked in his life while the only thing they could do is stick the fish over a fire? Though, the smokey taste made it better. After a few bites, she paused and looked at the coconut water, still chewing her food.

He stole a bite of the fish too, stomach still growling after his banana venture. He noticed her looking at the coconut water, and lifted it up to her mouth. "You are so lucky to have me." He said with a smirk.

She glared at him, not wanting to admit that he was right; she was lucky he was there to take care of her sorry ass. She loked away from him stubbornly with a huff and then sipped at the coconut water. Relief ran down her throat as she longed for more and continued to drink greedily, then stopped when she figured she should conserve it. She pulled back, a little water dribbling down her chin.
