Alex blushed. Thinking about how Alice would smile if he gave her the sketchbook.
"Alright. Thanks for the adivce. I'll go head over to the book shop and do that now."
Alex only agreed so that he'd have an excuse to leave and his captain could follow a little later.

[adelle]

"Alrighty then! Go get 'er!" Adelle called out after Alex. She then turned to Pistol. "Off to the ship then, I guess."

[Edward Cullen]

"Alright, let's go!" he exclaimed, turning and running off in what he assumed was the right direction.

[adelle]

Adelle's eyes widened. "How did you know the way to my ship?" she asked Pistol.

[Edward Cullen]

"I'm psychic!" he claimed, grinning.

[Alex Hardy]

Alex waited for his captain at the book shop. While he waited he looked at the sketch book in the window.
'Alice seemed like she really wanted this.....'
On impluse Alex went inside and bought it.

Avenge waited for Adelle and Pistol to get a move on a leave, before he made his way after Alex.When They were far enough he went to the Book Shop. He didn't see Alex outside, so he made his way into the small shop. What a surprise they even had a book shop here.

He opened the old door, and it gave way to a a loud creak, he spotted Alex and it appeared he was actually buying the sketch book Adelle was speaking of earlier. Avenge gave a small smirk.

Alex paided the cashier and put the sketch book in his bag. He heard a loud creak and spun around. His Captain was standing there.
"Captain! You scared me a little bit."
Alex gave him a clumsey salute.
"I'm ready to report."

Alex had finished paying for the sketch book and had realized Avenged had entered. He gave a small nod. Who hadn't he scared? It seemed everyone had an uneasy feeling around him. He made his way to the back of the shop, so their conversation could not be heard.

Alex nodded.
"Both are definately Pirates.....Alice Drennen is the cook on El Reino the pirate ship that belongs to Captain Amadeus Corderro. She's around my age and doesn't seem to like her captain all that much. That might be useful in the future. Her Captain is a wominizer and aparently has a thing for a woman captain named Reya.
The other one, Captain Adelle seems very aloof and clueless. She doesn't have a very large crew, can't seem to really get anyone to join. She has a parrot named King who's loud and likes to chase people."
Both went their seperate ways before I could get more information. Adelle headed to the pub and Alice went back to her ship. That's all I have to report."
Alex left out the part of Adelle trying to hook him and Alice up. How embarrassing......

Avenge stroked his chin with his long boney fingers. He kept one arm on his sword, as his eyes watched the cashier infront incase he was getting a little too nosey.He studied the information in his head, thinking of a plan they could use.

Crucial you keep your ties with this Alice Drennen. For now, it is Captain Adelle with the miniscule crew we will see to. She has already asked me to fix her ship. You and I shall head over there and make sure her ship cannot set sail anytime in the near future.

He gave a long yawn then turned his gaze back to Alex.

Do you have any suggestions as to how we go about doing so? I have some ideas brewing already.

Alex listened to what the Captain was saying secretly glad that he was to kepp ties with Alice. He thought about the best way to prevent Adelle's ship from functioning.
"She seems clueless about many things, so all we need to do is break things she can't fix on her own. Make it seem like an accident.....The best thing would be to 'accidently' set a fire or something that would take ages to fix. It would be great if during the process if we could get some of her crew to quite so then after the damage is done it will be harder to fix it on her own...."

The Fleet Admiral listened very closely. He had liked what he had heard. His mouth had curled up into a gruesome twisted smile.

I like the way you think soldier. We shall cause a fire in their kitchen. It will cause massive damage to the ship as well as preventing them from eating anything edible, so they will be forced to stay here.

Avenge slid a boney finger into his coat pocket and pulled out a match.

You can head over to there ship now while I go and get some more equipment.
...Oh, any questions?

"No sir. I'll head over now."
Alex gave his Captain a salute and headed off in the direction of the port. He tried to think up stories of why he was going to Adelle's boat, things to tell her when she'd ask him what he was doing there.
