Lilimae's eyes widened. "...Stuff?" She repeated warily. "How about...you just don't make fun of me and you get stew. Does that work, Captain?"

"Hmph," Adelle said, crossing her arms. "As captain, I don't make comprimises, but I'll have to let you go this time..."
Adelle went from authoritative to little kid as she added, "But I really wanted to use the stuff..."

"Stuff is very vague, Captain, and frankly, kind of frightens me," Lilimae said slowly, jerking her head around to return to the task of ripping the crab apart, limb by limb. "Though I'm sure you wouldn't do anything too bad...or at least, I hope not..."

Adelle shifted her expression to a darker, more serious one. "Listen, I only advise that you don't undermind my authority as captain. If you do, I'll be foreced to take certain measures." She paused and smiled, going back to her usual happy-go-lucky atittude. "Alright?"

Lilimae nodded sternly, giving the Captain a determined look. "Of course, Captain." She said just as stern as her expression, and went dutifully into the crab-prying again, with a determination that exceeded her natural calmness.

"Captain, I haven't even started the stew." Lilimae said slowly, almost in confusion. The Captain could've been testing her, for all she knew. "But--it will be done soon! I promise!"

Adelle was pleased at the idea that she'd be eating crab stew soon. And although she had no intention of testing or putting lilimae under scrutiny, she couldn't help but hover over Lilimae's shoulder as she cooked.
"So...How's life?" Adelle asked in attempt to keep her mind off her hunger.

"Um..." Lilimae subconsciously filled with a placeholder as she paused in the work of tearing apart the poor crab for the Captain.
"Life is...great." She finished, thinking that over in her head. 'Great' was not considering the saltwater that tasted disgusting, the annoying seagulls that seemed to multiply by thousands and rest on the Edellia at times, or even the lack of fresh water and food, but surplus of rum.
But hey, it was better than on land.
"How about...you, Captain?"

"Me? Uh. I'm hungry...NO! I mean, I'm good." Adelle paused, thinking over her words. "I get hungry and good confuzed sometimes. Haha."
Adelle started to jog in place a bit to keep herself busy. "Anything good happen?"

Lilimae smiled to herself, entertained by the Captain's scatter-brained mind.
"Well, let's see. I didn't get eaten by a shark, so I consider that good. How about you? Have you seen any ships lately?"

Adelle inched forward to get a better smell of the food.
"Uhm, well. You're cooking me food now, I guess. And I finally got King to use the freakin toilet. I haven't really seen any ships, but I snuck onto Amadeus' that one time," she replied absent-mindedly.

"You snuck onto another ship?" Lilimae demanded, turning over her shoulder to look at the Captain. The Captain was so close, though, that it startled her, in turn making Lilimae flinch and almost drop the crab. She juggled for the crab with slippery fingers, finally catching it and slamming it down on the counter to force it to stay still. "C-Captain, was that even allowed?"

Adelle clapped in amusement of the small show Lilimae had put up. "Of course it's allowed, he didn' even seem to mind I was there. And Alice seemed happy to see me there." Adelle replied. "You wanna come next time?"
