"Heh heh, of course!" Adelle replied instantly. She eyed Lilimae running her hand through her hair and added, "Make sure you don't get any hair in the stew. I might just have to shoot you."
It was a transparent lie, however, Adelle really was concerned she would get hair in her food.

"Eh?!" Lilimae replied in a startled voice, her expression turning a pale color at the threat. "C-Captain, I wasn't t-trying to!" She stammered, taking a step back from the pot. "The s-stew will be done shortly, I promise!"

adelle smirked, pleased that she wasn't at the end of a lie, and believeing it, this time. She was also happy to hear her food would be done soon, her smirk turned into an insane grin.

Lilimae shrank into the counter a little bit at the sight of her captain's crazy looking smile. It looked like those times where death was usually mentioned. "Um...Captain..." She started off shakily, gripping the poor dead crab with both hands tightly. "Could you...please not...grin like that?"

Alex approached the ship titled "The Ebony Edellia", trying to remember if it was Adelle's ship or not. He decided to call out and see.
"Hello? Anyone on board?"

Lilimae froze in her work of dissecting the poor crab and looked up at the Captain.
"Um...Captain? I think someone's here on the ship..."

Adelle stopped grinning and looked over her shoulder. "Uhm, just finish cooking. I'll be right back with whoever that is." she said to Lilimae, then ran off.

"Um..." Lilimae stammered after the captain. After Adelle's footsteps faded away into the seagull cry overhead and the sound of the waves, she sighed. "Just finish cooking...sure...don't worry about my captain getting killed or anything like that...no, not at all. Don't worry at all, Lili!" She mumbled to herself, ripping the crab's shell open with a little too much force than necessary.

Adelle skipped along the corner to find Alex wandering the halls of the ship. "Alex!" Adelle called. "Watcha doing here? Looking for Alice? Cuz if you are, you got the wrong ship." She snickered.

Alex smiled.
"No I was actually looking for you. You know that creepy guy from the pub? Well I was looking for a job and he offered me one. So I'm here to start repairing your ship like you asked him to do. My new boss will be here after he picks up a few supplies."

"Creepy guy...at the pub?" Adelle said to herself while searching her memory. She tapped her chin several times before coming up with an answer. "Oh! Right! You mean that guy, uh, his name was....Incognito! Right?"
Adelle paused for a second for a reply, but then the smell of cooking crabs filled the air. She was hungry. Really hungry by now. "Why don't I take you to meet my cook?" Adelle suggesteed without hearing Alex's reply. "HEY LILIMAE!!! I GOT A FRIEND I WANT YOU TO MEET! STAY PUT, THOUGH, I WANT YOU TO KEEP COOOKING!!!" She called out.

"Yea, kinda. She's cooking for me now, so don't distract her too much." Adelle ordered as she led Alex to the kitchen. "Hey Lili! This is Alex, he's here to help repair summa those damages on the ship." Adelle peeked over Lilimae's shoulder to see how the food was progressing.

Avenge had finished gotten all the supplies he had needed and had loaded them into a trunk he weeled around. He slowly made his way up to the ship. As came aboard he looked for Adelle or anyone he could talk to.
